Origin

Our story begins in 1949 when Tom Rowland returned from serving the country in world war 2 in the Royal Australian Navy. After completing his service he was offered a position from the commonwealth reconstruction scheme at Gosford Technical College and completed his trade qualification in painting & decorating. He later launched T. Rowland Master Painters & Decorators and began what would become a family legacy spanning over 70 years of service and excellence.

Building on Excellence

Then, during the early 1970s, Greg Rowland, Tom’s second son, joined the team to begin his formal apprenticeship. As the business grew the company was later rebranded to T.G. Rowland Master Painters, continuing the family’s name and reputation and serving the central coast with its dedication to quality and service.

Today’s Leadership

Now led by third-generation director Stuart Rowland, T.G.S. Rowland Master Painters & Decorators combines 70+ years of hands-on expertise with a focus on eco-friendly products and streamlined processes to ensures every project benefits from our legacy of the highest quality craftsmanship and the personal care you’d only expect from a truly family run business.
